The Den is an intensive outpatient behavioral healthcare treatment program for people who identify as being from a racial/ethnic minority and/or LGBTQIA+. If you need help overcoming substance use, we have created an environment where you can feel safe, make friends, and take control of your life.
Den services are funded through a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA).
We provide
Low cost or free substance use intensive outpatient program Group sessions are held in a comfortable, judgement-free space. We provide free screenings to anyone who is concerned about possible substance use. If the person is not eligible for the Den IOP, we refer to appropriate services. If the person is eligible for Den IOP, we refer to the next stage of admission to the Den IOP.
Behavioral Healthcare Psychotherapists and Den IOP staff create individualized services, including treatment plans
Case Management We offer transportation to the sessions; psychosocial support; employment information; skill building regarding stress management and time management and job interviews; help with insurance and copays; referrals to needed services, and more
Free testing We offer free HIV and Hepatitis C testing as part of the program
