The Den is a free intensive outpatient behavioral healthcare treatment program for minority men and women and LGBTQ people. If you need help overcoming substance abuse, we have created an environment where you can feel safe, make friends, and take control of your life.
Den services are funded through a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA), so there is no fee for any service.
Non-grant funded resources at the Den are available through the generous support of Church of the Nativity.
Free substance abuse intensive outpatient program Group sessions are held in a comfortable, judgement-free space. We provide free screenings to anyone who is concerned about possible substance misuse. If the person is not eligible for the Den IOP, we refer to appropriate services. If the person is eligible for Den IOP, we refer to the next stage of admissions to the Den
Behavioral Healthcare Counselors and Den IOP staff create individualized services, including treatment plans
Case Management We offer meals and transportation to the sessions; psychosocial support; employment information; skill building regarding stress management and time management and job interviews; help with insurance and copays; referrals to needed services, and more
Free testing We offer free HIV and Hepatitis C testing as part of the program
